Wedding Songs
Provided reasonable notice (3-4 weeks minimum) is given, we are happy to learn opening songs for the happy couple's first dance. We find that most couples like to choose a song that they really want rather than one from a prescriptive set list and we have never been unable to oblige a wedding couple yet. Songs we have learned for weddings recently include: Inside Out - Bryan Adams, From This Moment - Shaniah Twain, and All The Time In The World - Louis Armstrong. Because I sequence the backing myself, I am not limited by what is available commercially or on the internet - so don't be afraid to ask for that special song. |
Location
We are based in East Central Scotland and tend to play in and around that area but are be prepared to travel for special functions. In certain conditions, a deposit would be necessary but this can be discussed when you contact us. |
Our Music
As previously noted we play music from the sixties to the present day. At many of our bookings we concentrate on up to date material and try to have a song from the top twenty in our repertoire at all times. Our most recent addition at the moment is Can't Get You Out of My Head by Kylie Minogue.
The Bottom Line - Fees
Our fee depends on the type of function, the length of time we are playing for and, on occasion, the distance we have to travel. A typical fee for a wedding within the Central Scotland area,with a playing time of four hours, would be £350.
We will also consider taking club work for reduced fees. (to be negotiated) |
